Solar Bill is a free tool that helps you understand your electricity bill. It explains; it doesn’t decide. Your DISCO’s bill is always the official record. Please use the service fairly and only with bills you have the right to use.
These terms are an agreement between you and Solar Bill (“we”, “us”) about your use of solarbill.pk. By using the website, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Solar Bill. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and forms part of these terms.
Solar Bill reads net-metering web bills issued by Pakistani electricity distribution companies (DISCOs) and explains them: units imported and exported, peak and off-peak costs, settlement, credit and estimated savings. You can use it without an account, or sign in with Google to save your bills.
Solar Bill is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for NEPRA, PITC or any DISCO, and it cannot change, dispute or pay your bill.
Solar Bill works from what is printed on, and encoded in, your bill. It recomputes figures and adds estimates, such as savings and payback, based on assumptions you can see and change. We work to make it accurate, but:
Your DISCO’s bill is the official record. Solar Bill is not financial, legal, tax or engineering advice. Before paying, disputing a bill, or deciding about a solar system, check with your DISCO or a qualified professional. Policy information on our website comes from public sources we link to, and may not reflect the terms of your own agreement.
You sign in with a Google account, and you are responsible for keeping that account secure. You need to be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live, or have a parent or guardian’s permission. Please keep your account to yourself; one person or household per account.
Your bills and the information in them stay yours. By saving a bill to your account, you give us permission to store it, process it and show it back to you, only to provide Solar Bill to you. This permission ends when you delete the bill or your account.
Only add bills that are yours, or that you have permission from the account holder to use. You can download or delete your data at any time from My account.

We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and remove content that breaks them.
Solar Bill is currently free. We may add, change or remove features, and we may introduce paid features in future; if we do, we will say so clearly before you are charged anything. We aim to keep the service running, but it may be unavailable at times for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may also stop the service. If we do, we will give signed-in users reasonable notice to download their data.
The Solar Bill name, website design, text, illustrations and software belong to us. You may use them to use the service, and share your own reports, but not copy or resell the service itself.
Solar Bill is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will suit a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on Solar Bill, including payments, disputes, or buying or changing a solar system. Because the service is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to PKR 5,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can stop using Solar Bill at any time, and delete your account from My account. Deleting your account removes your bills and PDFs as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections 3, 9, 10 and 12 continue to apply after your use ends.
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts at Lahore, Pakistan. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve it.
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and tell signed-in users about significant changes by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Solar Bill after that, you accept the updated terms.
